SEC Industrial Battery Company is 30 Years Old

SEC is delighted to announce its 30th Anniversary! SEC Industrial Battery Company was founded in September 1977 to specialise in the supply and installation of Solar Electric Power systems. Batteries were, and still are, a major part of Solar PV and alternative energy systems. In 1983 the company changed its focus to concentrate on the supply, installation and service of large industrial mainly valve regulated lead acid (VRLA) batteries.

SEC's sales expanded quickly during the 1980’s and establish first a Middle East and then a Global distribution network of Agents and Distributors. SEC was instrumental in identifying and developing the global market for the new, at that time, large sealed lead acid VRLA batteries.

As well as supplying Telco's and Power Companies other battery companies and OEM's SEC have since returned to its roots, and developed the SEC Renewable division, offering Fuel Cells / hybrid battery solutions for the needs of the expanding Worldwide Renewable Energy Markets.
