ProCoreTM UGV

Protonex ProCoreTM UGV systems are designed to extend runtimes for small unmanned ground vehicles. ProCoreTM UGV has a very low noise profile and will provide up to four times the energy density of advanced batteries, addressing the rapidly growing segment of military and commercial UGVs designed for specialty missions such as surveillance, chemical-biological monitoring and border patrol. ProCoreTM UGV integrates a high power fuel cell system, including fuel cell stack technology that can achieve 1,000 watts per kilogram, with an advanced chemical hydride fueling solution. To achieve optimal metrics, ProCoreTM UGV will be integrated into UGV platforms designed to run for significantly longer durations and carry greater payload-- such as the iRobot PackBot® and the Foster-Miller Talon®. Protonex is currently working with UGV manufacturers to identify and develop these platforms.
