The world's telecommunication systems are increasing in coverage and it is even more important to have dependable, reliable, and quality telecom deep cycle Gel standby battery systems.

There are two major Telecoms Battery applications and thus two solutions.

1) Standby power where the telecom batteries are continuously charged by the Utility power and only occasionally, in the event of a power outage, are the batteries discharged. For these applications SEC offer a full range of competitively priced Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) batteries in 6 and 12 volt Monobloc and for larger capacity Telecom systems we offer 2 volt cells with 12 to 20 year design life in float service at 20 C.

2) In remote areas of the world or where the utility power is not available or is unreliable it is necessary to power Telecom systems with diesel generators. If the diesel generator is run 24/7 then the fuel and maintenance cost are very very high. For these sites SEC offer CELLYTE Deep Cycle Gel battery hybrid design to power the telecom systems for 8 to 10 hours per day thus saving 35% or more of the fuel cost and reducing the frequency for diesel generator maintenance.

Gel Solar Top Terminal range Monobloc Gel batteries with proprietary Virgin pure lead / 1.6% grid fitted with VRLA Catalyst with capacities of 40 to 250 ah C/100 12 year design life in float service at 20 C.


CELLYTE 12FTG

Gel Front Terminal range Monobloc Gel batteries with proprietary Virgin pure lead / 1.6% grid fitted with VRLA catalyst with capacities of 40 to 175 ah C/10 12 year design life in float service at 20 C. These batteries have the added advantage of fitting into standard 19 Telecom Relay racks
