New distributor in Germany, Austria and Switzerland

Dantherm Power A/S is happy to welcome Zebotec GmbH as our new distributor in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

Zebotec GmbH was founded in 2002 and is located in Konstanz in Southern Germany.

Zebotec is a young and innovative company specialised in the development of early and niche markets for fuel cell applications. Fuel cells for backup power is just one particularly promising field where zebotec is already active and well recognised.

Zebotec has been in the fuel cell business for many years and the founders were originally a part of the German company that later became Ballard in Germany.

In the field of backup power, zebotec has experience since 2005 in distribution and service of Plug Power’s GenCore fuel module in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. They did several projects in the backup power market and have satisfied customers within the telecommunication and the utility market like E-Plus, Vodafone, Alcatel-Lucent and Gasversorgung Süddeutschland. As PlugPower has stopped their activities within Backup Power, Zebotec has been searching for other partners to supply backup power modules to their existing as well as future customers.

Zebotec GmbH has tested our hydrogen based system over a period of five weeks since late March and their feedback to us has been extremely positive. When they compare our product with a number of other products in the market they state that our systems are more stable and reliable and provide a number of good features.

We look very much forward to the new partnership with Zebotec and will direct future requests from Germany, Austria and Switzerland to our new distributor.
