MIRABO Fuel Cell Installed in Japanese Government Ministry`s Office Building

Recently New Japan Eco-system's Fuel Cell System MIRABO was installed in one of the largest meeting rooms at the Ministry of the Environment as the primary power source for lighting and presentation equipment.

This decision was made by Ms. Yuriko Koike, the Minister of the Environment who has long been an advocate of environmental protection.  She personally switched on the system and thereafter made a speech,  first introduction to a Governmental Office of clean energy generation system aimed at global warming prevention and CO2 reduction.

The power MIRABO generates accounts for approximately 0.3% of the total power the Ministry consumes.
