The towering proposition of fuel cell systems

How it works for skyscrapers, commercial buildings & office blocks.

Developers,Architects and Engineers are always searching for better ways of delivering new buildings. Now,more than ever, when funding is tight and environmental needs are imperative, informed choices need to be made at the earliest stages. For those contemplating a major construction project be that a refurbishment or new build tower block or office complex - security of energy supply and green energy credentials must be at the top of the list of requirements.

Logan Energy has the capability to assist new build and refurbishment projects to build a quiet, clean, reliable, low maintenance, energy efficient, low carbon fuel cell energy system into the planning from the earliest stage. We already have experience of working with developers and designers who recognise the sense of designing systems which use Combined Cooling Heat and Power. Such a system can be effectively operated by modern fuel cell technology.

An on-site fuel cell system can also give building owners and managers the essential energy supply they require, efficiently creating low carbon electricity and hot water. Such systems are now a viable and cost-effective option that cannot be ignored. Locally produced electricity and heat used to power, heat and cool buildings with lower operational costs and low to zero carbon profile makes sense and fuel cells provide the optimum solution.

Logan Energy has the expertise and knowledge to install energy centres for commercial buildings that incorporate or are part powered by fuel cells. These can use hydrocarbon based fuels, such as natural gas to give an immediate carbon reduction of 40% and later be converted to run on a green gas with a zero carbon impact should such a gas become economically available during the life of the plant. Similarly they can be effectively integrated with other forms of renewable energy. No other distributed energy source can duplicate this.
