ITM Power’s HPac and HBox electrolysers offer a new solution for hydrogen generation. These PEM electrolysers are rated at a pressure of 15 bar and deliver maximum hydrogen flow rates of 3 and 10 litres per minute. HBox and HPac are well matched to the requirements of laboratories, educational establishments, small industry and for those developing new hydrogen demonstration projects (including residential applications).

About ITM Power’s Electrolysers
HPac has been designed to supply hydrogen to compression systems for energy storage, to fuel cells or engines, and to small industrial processes. HPac is based on a solid polymer electrolyte that enables the oxygen side of the system to remain at atmospheric pressure, reducing complexity and cost. HPac can also be configured to meet a range of specifications of hydrogen pressure, purity and flow rate.

The HBox has been designed for hydrogen system integrators, fuel cell developers and experimenters. HBox is suitable for charging standard cylinders and hydride stores. In particular, HBox-PV provides an off-grid solution for those interested in generating truly 'green' hydrogen for charging hydrogen stores in stationary applications (including solar hydrogen homes and telecom back-up power applications). HBox is a balanced pressure electrolyser and can be configured to deliver both hydrogen and oxygen at pressure if desired.
HBox is based on a novel high efficiency proton-exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyser and is available in three formats:
3000 Producing 3000 cc/min H2 at 15 bar
For direct coupling to a PV array of up to 1,300W peak power output, producing 20-40 kg H2 per annum (depending on site latitude, climate, orientation and tilt).
