Jack Boyer - Chairman (independent)
Mr Boyer joined Ilika as Chairman in 2004. He was until 2003 the founder and CEO of Trident Components Group, a € 250 million revenue pan-European automotive and telecommunications supplier. Prior to that he managed companies in the engineering sector and worked at Goldman Sachs and Bain & Co. He was educated at Stanford University (B.A. Hons), the London School of Economics (M.Sc.) and INSEAD (MBA). Mr Boyer currently acts as a non-executive Chairman of, and investor in, early-stage companies. He is also involved with environmental and educational non-profit organizations.

David Norwood – Non-Executive Director
A modern history graduate from Keble College, Oxford, David began his financial career as a foreign exchange trader with Bankers Trust. Subsequently he worked for both Duncan Lawrie and Williams de Broe where he raised finance for, and invested in, both private and public technology companies. In 1999, David founded IndexIT Partnership, a technology advisory boutique which was subsequently acquired by Beeson Gregory Group plc. David was a director of Beeson Gregory Group and originated Beeson Gregory’s £20m partnership with the University of Oxford. David is a former captain of the English chess team and an international chess Grand Master. |
