6 standard cylinders of Hydrogen will provide up to 9 hours of back-up power at 5 kW.

IdaTech’s advanced fuel reforming technology means that a wide range of fuels like natural gas, or methanol could be used to provide extended run time systems. The ElectraGen™ products are, CE and UL certified, fuel cell systems designed for critical backup power/UPS needs ranging from 1 to 15 kilowatts. The ElectraGen™ family of products operates with standard hydrogen cylinders (industrial grade), but it is also possible to generate hydrogen on site from a liquid fuel (methanol/water mix) using the ElectraGen™XTR module.
