IdaTech's Benefits
Medical and Dental Insurance IdaTech provides Medical and Dental Insurance for its employees and their families. This benefit includes prescription drug coverage, vision coverage and orthodontia coverage. IdaTech pays the total premium for the employee and their family. The coverage effective date will be the first day of employment.
Cafeteria Plan The IdaTech Cafeteria Plan is a system that allows you to pay for Un-reimbursed Medical Expenses and Dependent Care Expenses on a "pre-tax" basis. Your taxable pay is reduced by the amount(s) you designate to the above areas. You must decide in advance how much of your pay you want to put in your Medical and Dependent Care accounts. All regular full-time employees are eligible to participate beginning on the first day of employment.
Life Insurance IdaTech's Group Life Insurance covers regular full-time employees on the first day of employment. This insurance is payable in the event of your death from any cause, at any time or place, while you are insured. A payment of $50,000 will be made in a lump sum or in installments to the beneficiary, as designated by you. Additional life insurance may be purchased as an optional benefit.
Long Term Disability Insurance IdaTech's Group Long Term Disability Insurance covers regular full-time employees begins on the first day of employment.
401(k) Pension Program Employees begin participation in the mandatory 401(k) pension program immediately. This is a salary reduction program. The employee's salary will be reduced by 7.5% and IdaTech will match the employee's contribution. IdaTech's matching portion will begin three months after the first day of employment, but will be retroactive back to the beginning of the plan. IdaTech's matching contribution will vest completely from the start of participation.
Paid Time Off Employees accrue 15 days of paid time off per year for the first two years of employment. After two years, employees will accrue additional paid time off. Paid time off not taken during the year can be carried over until March 31st of the following year. The prior year unused hours will be lost and not paid out.
Health Club Memberships Employees can choose to join a local health/fitness center. We pay the employee's initiation fee as well as half the monthly fee.
