Background
Ethanol has received much attention as fuel for the future and there are a number of fuel cell companies developing technologies to utilise ethanol for fuel cells. Hayman speciality products are the market leaders in the supply of consumables (including ethanol) for the bio-fuel industry through our partnerships with some of the largest chemical companies in the world including Methanex, BASF and INEOS.
Partnerships
Hayman is looking to partner with fuel cell companies using ethanol as their fuel, to provide them with packaged global ethanol supplies. We are also interested in talking with developers of ethanol reformers who are interested in providing a complete fuelling infrastructure for their technology.

The company supplies product to all of the blue chip companies in the Pharmaceutical, Perfumery and Electronic industries. The company is an authorised distributor for INEOS Enterprises, Methanex and B.A.S.F, delivering liquids in any size from 500ml bottles to Bulk tankers in the UK or Isotanks for export - our in-house Export Team handles the total exportation package if required.
Due to the wide variety of customer requirements for the supply of our product range Hayman Limited offer a broad range of different pack types to meet virtually any customer needs. It should however be noted, that in certain cases the pack types offered are restricted to meet our stringent quality assurance standards and/or health and safety requirements. We also have the ability to work with external partners for any more specialist packaging requirements.
Hayman have the capability to fill product in a wide variety of packs and sizes, including small bottles, cans, drums and IBC’s (intermediate bulk containers) to tankers, and customer specific containers
Production Method:
Synthetic Ethanol is produced from Ethylene, which is rectified from naphtha extracted from oil. It is distilled twice to ensure minimal water content complying with the highest quality standards.
Standard Grades:
Available to all standard pharmacopoeia as well as Analytical Reagent and HPLC Grades.
Standard Strengths:
100% pure and 99% commercial strengths available.
Denaturants Available:
Sometimes it is necessary to make Ethanol unpalatable by the addition of a denaturant. Standard denaturants available include Methanol, Diethyl Phthalate, Isopropanol, Acetone, Bitrex, tertiary - Butanol, Hexane, Heptane, Cyclohexane, Ethyl Acetate, Toluene, Xylene, and many others to meet customer's specific denatured requirements.
