Green MotorSport is now able to provide and supply LiFePO4 LiFeBATT rapid charge battery technology. This battery technology is an intrinsically safer cathode material. The Fe-P-O bond is stronger than the CoO bond so that when abused, (short-circuited, overheated, etc.) the oxygen atoms are much harder to remove. This stabilization of the redox energies also helps fast ion migration. Only under extreme heating (generally over 800 °C) does breakdown occur, which prevents the thermal runaway that all other Li-ion chemistries are prone to. The fully lithiated and unlithiated states of LiFePO4 are structurally similar, which means that LiFePO4 cells are more structurally stable than Li-ion cells. No lithium remains in the cathode of a fully charged LiFePO4 cell, in a LiCoO2 cell, approximately 50% remains in the cathode. LiFePO4 is highly resilient during oxygen loss, which typically results in an exothermic reaction in other lithium cells.
UN Testing has confirmed that during short circuit, vibration, thermal, shock, impact, overchange and forced discharge, our cells did not suffer any fire or explosion incidents and have been classified "NOT RESTRICTED" under the IATA special provision of A45 and are safe for air travel.
Independent Testing - Sandia National Laboratories, New Mexico, USA. We have not paid Sandia to test our product, Sandia are funded by the US Government and operate a testing regimen in the public interest.

High specification LiFeBATT Lithium Phosphate monoblock battery incorporating internal voltage management system. High 20C discharge capability - this battery has been designed for use in electric vehicles. High cycle life - depending on use, in excess of 1500 x 60% cycles is possible - far greater life than most other lithium batteries. Quantities of these batteries can easily be connected in series or parallel to create higher voltage or higher Ah capacity battery packs. Includes RS232 input and output connections for connection to a computer and data logging.

Warrants only to the original purchaser of this battery that it is free of defects in material and workmanship for 3 Years or 1,500 Cycles, (whichever comes first). Prior to installation or use, the state of charge of this battery has been maintained at a level equal to or greater than the minimum level considered necessary under industry standards for batteries to perform effectively upon their use or installation. If adjustment is necessary due to a defect in material or workmanship, or state of charge below minimum industry standards prior to installation or use, and the battery is not merely discharged after installation or use, then upon return of the battery to an authorized dealer within 3 years or 1,500 Cycles, (whichever comes first), will be replaced free of charge (except for taxes, where applicable).
This Warranty Does Not Cover:
Discharged batteries that can be recharged and returned to service. A battery of a different size than the battery recommended by the manufacturer of the product in which it is installed. Cost for recharging or use of rental batteries or vehicles. Labor costs for battery removal and installation. Damage due to charging system failure, negligence, abuse, accident, improper installation, or freezing. Loss of time, inconvenience, loss of vehicle use, or other incidental or consequential damages.
With your purchase you will be issued a warranty card for each HPS module, please complete and return to us.
Please Note The above is our standard warranty, however depending on the application we are able to extend the warranty to 3,000 cycles, please contact us for further information.
