GMS Series : An electric kart class with Formula Kart Stars

Green MotorSport Electric Karting Sponsorship Opportunity

Green MotorSport has been officially offered the chance of running an electric karting class within Formula Kart Stars, formerly called the BRDC Stars of TomorrowCalled GMS series, there will be eight races for 15 GMS advanced electric racing karts which will be powered by renewable energy.  The GMS electric karts will use Green MotorSports' latest liquid cooled m1 motors, electronics and lithium storage technologies with advanced battery management systems.

Drivers in the series are regarded as Britain's next generation of Formula 1 drivers and will be hand picked by racing celebrities.

Using this framework Green MotorSport understands that the ultimate test bed of durability and reliability is unleashed in this application. Green Motorsport also understands the best industry location for technology to develop. In this case motor sport is located in a rapidly progressive and innovative environment due to pressures of competition. This method also provides all who participate with the benefits of the racing industry and all associated limelight that falls in its wake.
Drivers will be hand picked by racing celebrities. Sir John Surtees who is well informed of the project will be helping select the lucky 12 drivers. (Sir John Surtees is the only man in history to win both Formula 1 in cars and in motorcycles) other racing names who support the project include Sir Stirling Moss, Carolyn Hoy, Sir Jack Brabham, Derek Bell and Martin Donnelly to name a few.

This will consist of a number of drivers racing for prizes and a number of well known motor sport celebrities who will be attending the events throughout the UK. We are seeking major companies to sponsor a driver or kart, and several smaller companies to participate.

There is fairly unlimited flexibility regarding what type of support you could give us. Some companies have already donated equipment and services and some people have given their time and company facilities in order to make the UK’s first renewable electric karting race series become a reality!
