Intelligent Energy’s compact fuel cell unit can power this bike, a house or a boat. An intelligent approach to future energy.

INTELLIGENT ENERGY LAUNCHES FUEL CELL MOTORBIKE

The world’s first purpose built fuel cell powered electric bike was launched at the Design Museum in London during March. Conceived by Loughborough-based Intelligent Energy, it has a range of 150 kms, at least double that of other electric bikes, and a top speed of 80 kph which will increase as refinements to the technology continue. The launch is a victory for the know-how and aspirations of the project’s all-British team and a landmark moment for those who believe that the dream of a hydrogen economy can, with the right political and economic support, become a tangible, near-future reality for the world’s energy consumers.
