Composite cathode powder for non-aqueous processing. The intimate mixing of cathode and electrolyte materials create a large amount of triple-phase-boundary catalytic region where oxygen is converted to the oxide ion. This material is readily mixed into an ink for coating onto electrolyte substrates. Tape casting is possible as well. LSM-YSZ is normally used with zirconia-based electrolytes. Standard material is LSM20 with YSZ8. Please specify if you need different materials.

When creating a complete cathode electrode you need a composite cathode for the reduction of O2 at the triple phase boundary and you need a cathode (like LSM) to act as a current collector. Utilizing these two types of cathode materials will provide you with lower ASR values.
