The new testing kits present researchers and developers with a simplistic method of screening electrochemical performance of SOFC materials and cells.

Features:

• Set includes a pair of machined end plates with internal manifolds that allow testing in co-flow or counter-flow arrangements
• Reactant delivery arrangement has been designed so that testing with a realistic flow field and current collection materials can be conducted
• Build and re-build of the kits is simplified by the use of pre-formed current collector materials and the use of simplistic compressive gasket sealing
• Load connection for the test apparatus is made through the Crofer APU 22 stainless steel endplates
