Alumina Felt for Sealing (AFS-)

Having trouble sealing your SOFCs? Try our alumina felt for sealing. This is a compressive seal with relatively low silica content (~5%) to minimize Si poisoning. We recommend infiltration of our alumina slurry into the felts to enhance gas retention.

The alumina felt comes in the same sizes as the Crofer 22 APU interconnect material, 170mm and 100mm. Custom size are possible. Please contact us us to discuss your specific needs.
