Welcome to The Marketplace Matters issue 10, the bi-monthly mailing from Fuel Cell Markets that explains a summary of FCM’s activities and communicates information and opportunities from FCM partners. This mailing is designed to:
- Assist organisations commercialising fuel cell and hydrogen technologies
- Facilitate partnerships between traditional industries and the fuel cell and hydrogen community
- Assist with Education & Outreach
January was a busy start to the year for the FCM team. As well as operating our online community, we helped facilitate two days of workshops for Fuel Cell Europe. Day one was focussed on ‘Early Markets’ in the morning and ‘Micro Fuel Cell CHP’ in the afternoon. Day two was introducing many companies developing Fuel Cell Backup Power systems to a variety of Telecoms and Backup Power companies. A great deal was accomplished in the course of the two days. More information from Fuel Cell Europe is provided below.
Secondly, FCM put together the largest pavilion stand at the largest fuel cell exhibition on the planet - FC Expo, Tokyo Japan. We did this in partnership with Scottish Development International and the Scottish Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association. FCM partners who supported us in the Pavilion included CMR Fuel Cells, UTC Power, DuPont, Heliocentris, siGEN, and the World Fuel Cell Council. It was a truly successful show and it was very interesting to learn more first-hand about what is happening in the Far East. FCM partners can look forward to finding out more about the trip and the contacts we made.
Now back at HQ in the UK, we are pressing forward with implementing the initiatives planned for 2006. This is going to be an extremely busy and productive year indeed…. so without further ado, please see the information and opportunities from FCM partners below…
Kind regards as always
The FCM Team
