 | Overview | The «Centre de Recherche en Electrotechnique et Electronique de Belfort» (CREEBEL) is a non-profit organisation whose primary objective is to co-ordinate and carry out research in electrical science, power electronics, digital control. CREEBEL is an association of the following members: the University of Franche-Comté (Besançon, France), University Of Technology Belfort-Montbéliard and several industrials of (our) region mainly Alstom, Faurecia, Novelté Systèmes, military research laboratories (DGA, ISL), and EDF research ….
The Créébel brings together the skills and research resources of both public and private sectors in the East of France. The objective of the project is the development of fuel cell systems applied to land transport and thus it contributes to the development of French industry as a whole. UTBM laboratories and in particular the Electronics, Electrotechnology and Systems Laboratory (LEES), which is in charge to manage the fuel cells experimental plant, are mobilised for this project.
Créébel manages research contracts in the field of electrical applications, it employs PhD students working in the Créébel’s research areas who are supervised (according to their projects) by university teachers and industrial research engineers. |
