Brief Description of Research Activities
Undertaking research and demonstration of hydrogen fuel cell systems for stationary and vehicular applications. Key expertise in power electronic interfacing of fuel cells (DC/DC converters and DC/AC inverters (both grid connected and grid independent)), balance of plant and control of fuel cell systems. Additional work underway in fuel cell modelling, electrolyser performance and hydrogen combustion.
The Dept. of Electronic & Electrical Engineering has also worked on commercial collaborations in the past. |
