Beijing-Tsinghua R&D Center for New Energy Vehicles is a research organization jointly formed by the Beijing Municipal Government and the Tsinghua University.

We devote ourself to R&D of new energy automobiles for ensuring China’s energy availability. The Center has made systematic R&D on pure electric vehicles, hybrid electric vehicles and fuel cell vehicles. During the Tenth Five-year Plan, we are responsible for the key scientific and technological project –Research and Development of Complete Vehicle Technology for Fuel Cell City Bus.

SinoHytec focuses on the development and industrialization of safe, clean and highly fuel efficient buses and their relevant sub-components and the construction of new energy transportation facilities. With more than ten-year vehicle integration experiences for electric, hybrid-electric and fuel cell vehicles, SinoHytec have made great advances and achievements on the complete vehicle design for various electric vehicles, R&D for new energy power system, development for the vehicles’ electric control system and the construction of hydrogen station and demonstration park.

We are building a hydrogen demonstration station together with BP and developing fuel cell buses.
