	Overview	With its 1900 employees, the AKG Group produces over two million heat exchangers a year in a wide range of specifications. Applications include industrial cooling plants, building machines, the motor vehicle industry, household appliances and special requirements. To achieve this, 10 business units around the globe are in operation twenty-four hours a day. As a leading supplier of customer-oriented solutions, AKG has acquired a worldwide reputation for producing high-quality coolers and heat exchangers. The AKG Group has been working up to now in the following fuel cell technology areas: - the design and supply of heat exchangers for primary and secondary cooling of fuel cells (eg in a UPS-System) -the design and supply of heat exchangers to limit the temperature of air entering fuel cells -the design and supply of condensers to capture water in air leaving fuel cells. The following activities are planned for the future: - the design and supply of heat exchangers and system solution for fuel cell operation -the design and supply of all heat exchangers for HyLite - a project led by the German Aerospace Centre in Stuttgart to develop an electric vehicle powered by fuel cell energy -the design and production of a SOFC reformer with the Forschungszentrum Jülich.
