Gasoline (or 'Petrol' in the UK) is a refined form of petroleum for use in vehicles with spark ignition internal combustion engines. It is a blend of light hydrocarbons such as hexane, heptane and octane and usually includes a number of additives.

It is not a sustainable fuel because it is produced from fossil fuels.
