Fuel Cell Markets Ltd

Any solid or liquid fuel derived directly from organic matter or biomass sources within an active carbon cycle. Bio-fuels include alcohols (such as ethanol and methanol), esters, ethers and ethanes.

Biomass sources for bio-fuel production include herbaceous and woody plants, animal fats, or waste from agricultural, forestry, municipal or industrial processes.

Production and utilisation of bio-fuels uses carbon in a circular, cyclical and sustainable manner and many bio-fuels can be used in direct replacement of their hydrocarbon counterparts. The most commonly used bio-fuels in use today are bio-ethanol and biodiesel.
