4th International Workshop on Hydrogen and Fuel Cells WICaC 2008

The 4th International Workshop on Hydrogen and Fuel Cells - WICaC 2008 aims to bring to its public the most recent advances on fuel cell and hydrogen technologies. The conference will address the trends on hydrogen production, distribution, delivery, storage and infra-structure as well as fuel cell research, development, demonstration and commercialization. The event also aims to bring together representatives from academy, industry and government so that the conference turns out to be a profitable opportunity to foster the uses of fuel cells and hydrogen.

Some of the other issues addressed at WICaC 2008 are:

• The Brazilian Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Program implemented by the Brazilian Ministry of Science and Technology;
• The Brazilian participation in the International Partnership for the Hydrogen Economy (IPHE) carried out by the Brazilian Ministry of Mines and Energy;
• The challenges to deploy the commercialization and use of fuel cells and hydrogen; 
• Distributed generation of energy;
• Fuel cell uses in portable devices and in vehicles;
• Life-cycle assessment of fuel cells and hydrogen technologies;
• Environmental aspects;
• Energy efficiency.
