Optimism at the Group Exhibit Hydrogen + Fuel Cells at HANNOVER MESSE 2009 - Already 47 exhibitors registered for 2010

148 exhibitors from 22 countries took part in the Group Exhibit Hydrogen + Fuel Cells at the HANNOVER MESSE 2009, April 20-24. The opening press conference with the German Federal Minister of Transport Wolfgang Tiefensee was the highlight of the week-long event. By closing time on Friday, already 47 exhibitors registered to participate again at the HANNOVER MESSE 2010.

Despite the tense atmosphere amidst the current financial crisis, the exhibitors of the Group Exhibit Hydrogen + Fuel Cells at the HANNVOER MESSE 2009 were pleased with the results of their participation. Particularly in these times, fuel cell technology is seen as the window of opportunity. German Federal Minister of Transport Wolfgang Tiefensee applauded the advancements in the field of fuel cell-powered heating systems, stating “It is remarkable to see what has happened alone in the past 6 months.”

The optimism of the participating companies and institutions, as well as in the fuel cell branch itself, is reflected in the number of registrations for the HANNOVER MESSE 2010. 47 exhibitors are already on the exhibitor list for the next Group Exhibit Hydrogen + Fuel Cells, April 19-23. “This number of registrations directly after the fair is an all-time high in the 15 year history of the Group Exhibit H2+FC and certainly speaks in favour of the entire HANNOVER MESSE,” says Organizer Tobias Renz with a smile.
