End-of-Show Report - Group Exhibit Hydrogen + Fuel Cells, HANNOVER MESSE 2007

The 13th Group Exhibit Hydrogen + Fuel Cells at HANNOVER MESSE 2007 was literally filled with energy. Over 130 exhibitors from 23 nations spotlighted their technology and put their products into the hands of the public. Thousands of international trade show visitors discovered the latest H2/FC applications, services and research results. Press and camera teams made daily appearances at exhibitors’ booths, while VIPs such as the German Federal Minister for Economics and Technology Michael Glos and US Ambassador of Germany William Robert Timken, Jr. had guided tours of Europe’s largest and most important hydrogen and fuel cells exhibition.

HANNOVER MESSE 2007 attracted a total of 230,000 visitors during the week-long event, up more than 10 percent to the last directly comparable year, 2005. Several former exhibitors of the Group Exhibit H2/FC reported an increase in not only the quantity but most importantly, the quality of visitors who came to their booth.

Ballard Power Systems (Canada), SGL Group (Germany), IdaTech (USA) and the International Science and Technology Center (Russia) are among the 22 exhibitors from 9 countries who have already registered for the 14th Group Exhibit H2/FC at HANNOVER MESSE 2008. Tobias Renz FAIR-PR, the organizing company behind the Group Exhibit H2/FC, expects a turn-out of 150 exhibitors for next year’s event.

The 14th Group Exhibit Hydrogen + Fuel Cells at HANNOVER MESSE 2008 takes place April 21 through April 25 in Hannover, Germany.
