SinterLyte™ Setters for Ceramic Firing

ENrG offers high purity, low density setters for Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) component manufacturing and where other ceramic firing processes are required.

High purity Alumina or Zirconia coated, alumina fiber board setters provide a porous, light weight and non-shedding base for firing of ceramic components at temperatures reaching 1500ºC. With low thermal mass, SinterLyte™ setters ensure quicker cycle runs and greater efficiency in the sintering process. Standard coatings are Alumina and Zirconia, however ENrG welcomes inquiries on customized coatings.

Specifications:

• Sizes to 355 mm x 355 mm (larger sizes available in 2010)
• 6.35 mm thick for firing temperatures up to 1500ºC*
• Setter density is 45 lbs/ft³
• Virtually Silica-free

*Please contact ENrG for thicker board sizes when firing temperatures exceed 1500°C.
