Wilton International Site
Wilton International Site is located on the Tees estuary, close to Middlesbrough in the North East of England and is home to a multitude of international companies.
The history of Wilton International can be traced right back to post war years when there was a demand for man made materials including nylon and other fibres. Since then the site has established an outstanding reputation as a leading process industry cluster, producing petrochemicals, polymers and fibre intermediates and has seen rapid growth. Heavy investment has taken place to expand the range of companies and assets located at Wilton.
Wilton International is around 1,900 acres in size, has a nine-mile perimeter, around 60 miles of internal roadway and approximately four thousand people are employed by the various companies.
There are seven major companies operating on the site but in addition there are approximately 80 smaller companies based there, ranging from relatively small service companies to large contractor firms. |
