David is Head of Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Research at the Centre for Energy Policy and Technology, Imperial College London. His expertise lies in the analysis of hydrogen energy and fuel cell systems for a wide range of applications, with a focus on economic and market issues, and on environmental performance. David’s background is in Mechanical Engineering, with a subsequent degree in Environmental Technology and a PhD in Hydrogen Energy. He has worked in Germany and Japan, and is a director of energy-environment consultancy E4tech, based in London and Lausanne. David is a member of the Grove Fuel Cell Symposium steering committee, and a member of the roster of experts of the Scientific and Technical Advisory Panel of the Global Environment Facility. He has advised a range of clients on hydrogen energy issues, including multinational companies and national governments, and been an invited participant at fuel cell and hydrogen events in Europe, the Middle East, the Far East and North America. |
