Jeremy Bentham

Jeremy Bentham is the Chief Executive Officer of Shell Hydrogen, a global business of the Royal Dutch/Shell Group of Companies with headquarters in Amsterdam and regional bases in Houston and Tokyo who is a leader in the hydrogen sector with activities in hydrogen storage, purification, reforming and fuel cells. Jeremy brings to Shell Hydrogen broad experience in research, manufacturing, strategy, sales and marketing. Previously, Jeremy was Vice President Hydrocarbon Logistics in Shell Global Solutions where his responsibilities included commercial and strategic development, including the management of service relationships with existing clients and the development of new business. He joined Shell in 1980 following post-graduate experience at the California Institute of Technology. He holds a masters degree in management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he was a Sloan Fellow from 1990 to 1991. He is a graduate of Oxford University where he read physics.
