"From the present to the future, the boat show looks ahead"
Genova - Tuesday, October 5, 2010, at the Mezzanine Hall in the new Pavilion B, an important panel discussion was held on the future of green marine industry. A subject dear to Ucina, which not only outlined its efforts in the field, thanks to the ELB project (End of Life Boats), but also has collected, sorted, through a Scientific Committee, and describes few of the most important experiences of research, development and industrial application, reported by companies exhibitors in the Boat Show 2010.
Among the 12 most innovative projects was also chosen HIDRO SYSTEM studied by Acta Energy and Marine Supply. The two companies in fact, are active in the development of new propulsion systems and hydrogen generation, as well as a line of vessels, HIDRO, also focused on low environmental impact and exploitation of renewable energy. A unique project that considers hydrogen as the main resource of the future. Speakers of the 12 selected projects, were some of the most important representatives of national associations and institutions related to environmental issues, including: Senator Antonio D'Ali, President of the 13th Land and Environment Commission of the Senate, Renato Grimaldi, General Director of Nature Protection in Environment Ministry, Enrico Puja, General Director of Maritime Transport inside the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transportation and Sebastiano Venneri, Vice President of Legambiente. |
