Acta enjoyed record attendance at its stand at FC Expo Tokyo 2008, the largest fuel cell show in the world.
The stand was prepared by Sumitomo Corporation, Acta's Asian partner, with all materials in Japanese and sales staff able to discuss Acta's latest technology. Acta demonstrated for the first time its low cost "disposable" fuel cell units. The quad-cell illuminated an Acta sign in LED lights and the bi-cell powered a toy car. Acta in addition had a static display of the ammonia electrolyser as well as its demonstrator fans running on multiple fuels. A number of encouraging leads were initiated and good business meetings held with a number of key existing customers. See below for some pictures from the show:
