Acta offers catalysts and other components

Acta's primary products for the portable power market are its HYPERMEC catalysts for portable fuel cells; the fuel cells themselves will be developed either by fuel cell makers or by the portable electronic OEMs.

Acta's products include anode and cathode catalyst powders, electrodes, testing units and other consumable items.

Potential fuel cell applications from 2-500W

Current customer trials are intended for applications from 2W for a mobile phone charger up to 500W for printers and other larger devices.

HYPERMEC's versatility in these applications allows it to be used in any one of a range of early adopting markets.

Strong pricing potential

Acta currently prices its catalysts at a premium price equivalent to a platinum catalyst, but will be able to significantly reduce prices when volume sales commence.
