New hydrogen generation system to provide greater hydrogen production capacity to semiconductor and materials processing industries
Wallingford, Conn. (July 13, 2010) – Proton Energy Systems, the world leader in on-site hydrogen generation, today unveiled its new HOGEN C Series hydrogen generation system at the SEMICON West 2010 semiconductor industry tradeshow in San Francisco. The new model is capable of producing ultra high purity hydrogen at rates up to 30 NM3/hr and 30 bar delivery pressure.
“Proton Energy Systems has been supplying equipment to the semiconductor and materials processing industries for more than a decade, but the new HOGEN C Series makes on-site hydrogen generation possible for manufacturers and facilities with larger production demands,” said John Speranza, vice president of sales for Proton Energy Systems. “The new model represents the next generation of on-site hydrogen production for the semiconductor and materials processing industries providing a safer, more affordable option to make hydrogen then previously available.”
The HOGEN C Series expands Proton Energy Systems’ presence in the semiconductor and materials processing markets and further demonstrates its hydrogen generation capabilities across numerous industries. The new model features five-times the hydrogen production capacity of its largest previously released H Series model. As a result, semiconductor manufacturers and materials processing facilities with greater production demands will have Proton Energy Systems’ innovative on-site hydrogen generation technology available to them.
The C Series on-site hydrogen generation system is an integrated, automated, site-ready package that allows for quick installation and deployment, and a dependable, inexpensive source of hydrogen production to manufacturing facilities.
