Staxera is a joint venture of H. C. Starck GmbH and Enerday GmbH to develop and manufacture solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) stacks.

SOFC technology is in our view the ideal energy efficient technology to convert gaseous and liquid hydrocarbons to electrical energy and high grade heat. Hydrocarbon fuels can be sourced either from either fossil or biogeneous sources – the optimum solution is always adapted to local availability and needs.

Staxera supplys the core technology of SOFC stacks and integrated stack modules (ISM) to industrial manufacturers and system integrators. As a tier-1 supplier we deliver stacks – with a guarantee and without signing a NDA. This means “SOFC for Industry”.

First end-customer products are mobile applications and microCHP units for residential heating. SOFC systems can produce electricity with high efficiency and can be used to supply high grade heat and electrical power in parallel (CHP). The number of potential application is nearly unlimited.

Our homepage offers always the latest information about Staxera and its products.
