Role requirements:

Fuel Cell Markets is looking for an individual to join the business development team who is experienced at selling services to new accounts through approaches such as cold and warm calling, and to existing clients by effectively managing and growing the relationship. A significant part of the role therefore involves networking, exploratory discussions and over time developing a technical understanding of companies products, services and business approaches thus enabling us to retain & expand our client base. International travel is likely as you will be asked to attend exhibitions &/or client meetings.

Another key part of your role is writing marketing content (for the website and magazine articles) and therefore you would be expected to keep up to date with market news and product applications.

Fuel Cell Markets is a business facilitator, assisting fuel cell, hydrogen and related sustainable energy companies with building the necessary partnerships to take their technologies & services to market. We provide a service that utilises business to business marketing tools in conjunction with our business development team, who assist by establishing direct introductions to prequalified potential partners as well as developing market entry strategies.

Managing over 50 international companies, we are looking to expand our business development team to support and grow our client base.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Given the focus on selling you must be comfortable meeting new people and a keen networker.
  • You should also have a track record in service-related selling.
  • You should have experience managing large spending accounts.
  • You should have marketing experience
  • You should have project management experience
  • You should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be a logical thinker and enjoy working as part of a team.
  • You will be required to use Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and other commonly used business software solutions.

Desirable Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of or experience in fuel cell and hydrogen technologies.
