NanoMaterials Discovery Corporation announces $4.7 MM Fuel Cell Contract

nanoMaterials Discovery Corporation (NDC) has been selected to receive a $4.7 million contract from the Defense Ordinance Technology Laboratory to develop a new class of fuel cells that utilize energetic materials, such as explosives and propellants, as fuels. These new fuel cells will have a broad spectrum of applications in both the military and commercial sectors. These applications include point-of-use and portable power, fusing, land mine and cluster munitions self-sterilization, and remediation of old and obsolete ordinance.

NDC's patented technologies and large libraries of nanostructured materials allow the company to provide innovative and commercially effective solutions for energy storage and delivery markets.
